This wild cloud completed last nights sunset entertainment (ya know, aside from the dolphins).

Last night I saw a pod of dolphins chasing the bow. I was only able to get this shot before my camera went dead; sometimes you just get to watch. I'm guessing at one point there 8 of them and we could hear them chirping to each other.

Our friends the pilot whales returned tonight at sunset.

This file photo shows the LARS just beginning to go over the stern, it will run out another 40 degrees or so before deployment.

The LARS is just beginning to come off the deck during this practice deployment.

Search for Amelia

From this shot during the Search Amelia you can see the LARS Operator as he sends the vehicle over the side. At this point he is both booming out the LARS and maintaining pressure on the winch controller to keep the AUV snug in the docking head.
